Julian Schnabel's The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, based on the memoirs of Jean-Dominique Bauby,based on French Elle editor Jean-Dominique Bauby’s memoir, a tender account of his struggle with stroke-induced paralysis, has been flooring critics.
