    Through November 20 at Freemans

    Stop by the popular restaurant for lunch and consume Serkan Özkaya’s Performa contribution— a dish conceived by Freemans chef Jean Adamson and listed on the menu as an artwork for sale.

  2. 2. “18 Happenings in 6 Parts (Re-doing)”

    November 5 through 11 at Deitch Studios

    A meticulous restaging of Allan Kaprow’s genre-defining 1959 “happening”— a choreographed spectacle of seemingly random (orange-squeezing, whistle-blowing) activities. It’s a nod to the origins of in-gallery performance, and a posthumous salute to the late artist.
