    The rising American mezzo has sung opposite Plácido Domingo in L.A. and just won the Opera Orchestra of New York’s Vidda Award. She’ll make her New York recital debut this week, then sing Carmen at City Opera in April.

    The supple and technically excellent pianist who records for ECM makes his New York debut, and sticks around for a Mozart quintet with the Tokyo String Quartet.
