Whether or not you're a fan of Helen Reddy—the 1970s pop singer once dubbed "The Queen of Easy Listening"—this two-person cabaret is a feel-good trip down a memory lane of hits including "I Am Woman" and "You And Me Against The World." Lance Werth and Joanna Parson appear as two rival Reddy fans in the show, which kicks off with each player writing letters to Helen about being dumped by the same two-timing Greg. Well-written and passionately performed, the musical can be overly silly at times, but the jokes rarely misfire. Werth's campy rendition of "Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady" is as hilarious as it is endearing. And Werth and Parson's retelling of Pete's Dragon (with an over-emphasis on Reddy's appearance that borders on delusional) is hysterical. Joe McDonnell, who made his name helming the original Fringe Festival version of Urinetown, directs.—Sara Cardace
