This year, more than 200 companies will perform in 20 venues. Tickets can be purchased via credit card in advance at fringenyc.org, over the phone from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 212-279-4488, or in cash at the box office 15 minutes prior to showtime.

General admission: $15 per show; $8 for senior sitizens

Multi-show, discount passes
The Fiver Pass: Any five shows for $65
Flex Pass: Any 10 shows for $110
The Lunatic Pass: All the shows you can see for $500.
