A collaboration in which professional actors perform alongside public-school kids, and students write and perform short plays in response to Parks’s shows. At the Kirk Theatre.

The festival travels up to the South Bronx, with a one-night showcase of Parks’s plays, the inspirations for which range from Greek tragedy to Jerry Springer.
