    During the last fifteen minutes of this class, students replace their sneakers with high heels and stride with fierce Naomi Campbell attitude across the floor, then end in a Rockettes-style kick line. But before they can have the fun, there’s 30 minutes of intense, dance-based leg-toning session, all addressed to the specific problems of habitual high-heel wearers. There are quad-burning pliés, reverse lunges, and heel relevés to sculpt calf muscles and strengthen weak ankles, and Pilates moves (core work, back extensions) to help strengthen out-of-whack back muscles.
