Trotting on a treadmill at the Printing House has more in common with Zen meditation than burning calories—you’ll gaze out floor-to-ceiling windows into ruddy sunsets over tugboats cutting wakes in the Hudson River. There’s never a note of piped-in music (unless you’re in class), and a trance-inducing whir of elliptical machines fills the air on the penthouse cardio floors. In warmer months, rooftop abs and yoga classes make full use of the sundeck—but who’s to say you can’t just skip working out to lay out by the rooftop pool?
