  • Trump Soho

246 Spring St., at Varick St.; 212-842-5505

The Trump Soho’s interpretation of the ancient Middle Eastern hammam is, no surprise, opulent. On the first floor of the building’s sprawling, 11,000-square-foot new spa, the bathing structures—there are two, separated, as tradition dictates, by gender—are ornate domed caverns with floor-to-ceiling mosaic tiles and Calacatta-marble perches. A Turkish-style treatment ($100 for 45 minutes) includes a head-to-toe scrub using a woven Kessa mitt and castile soap, while the Moroccan version means a full-body exfoliation with crushed-black-olive soap, then a heated Ghassoul clay body mask ($160 for 60 minutes).
