As any veteran club kid can tell you, the best parties happen on school nights. Which is why nightlife matron Susanne Bartsch waits until Sunday to take over the new, eco-themed club Greenhouse with her army of drag queens, transsexuals, burlesque performers, and regular old gays. Downtown icons Patrick McDonald and Kenny Kenny have been spotted blowing kisses underneath the upstairs lounge’s recycled-glass ceiling, while downstairs, a neon- and glitter-clad clientele gyrates to camp anthems (read Madonna, Madonna, Madonna). Bartsch’s inner circle may have aged, but God bless them, they still know how to throw a dance party.
