Ghe20 G0th1k’s weekly throwdown, recently transplanted to Aqua Bar & Lounge in Williamsburg, is one of those grimy hard-house affairs where the couches go unused because everyone’s on the dance floor losing their minds. The music is not for everyone: Imagine a roomful of clanking cash registers overlaid by techno rap and broadcast through the P.A. of a Jamaican soccer stadium. And the crowd is equally discordant: self-proclaimed hermaphrodites in onesie pajamas; spandexed divas with airbrushed nails; Paris Is Burning fanatics made up like sex mummies. The music’s so loud and nerve-jangling that your only choices are to leave or succumb. It’s much too fun for the former.
