Like Inside the Actors Studio, the IFC incarnation of former Mamet assistant Robert Milazzo’s weekly film series ($17) invites a mishmash of musicians, comedians, filmmakers, and actors to select the night’s feature presentation, then stick around for a conversation with the audience about what they’ve just seen. The pairings are inspired, as evidenced by recent meet-ups: Alan Cumming on Waiting for Guffman, Talib Kweli on The Big Lebowski, Andrew W.K. on The Elephant Man, and David Cross on Phantom of Liberty.
