  • Weeksville Heritage Center

158 Buffalo Ave., at St. Marks Ave., Crown Heights; 718-756-5250

The two-story hub offers classes on gardening, graffiti, and T-shirt art, while a brand-new gallery hosts exhibits on African art and Brooklyn’s jazz roots, with DJs spinning at packed after-hours openings.
