Best New Idea: The Urban Jumping Gym

  • Bounce U, a national chain of kids’ gymnasiums with two local outposts, takes one of suburbia’s favorite childhood pastimes—the backyard bouncing castle—and relocates it to a safe, confined space filled with inflatable obstacle courses, ball pits, boxing rings, and 25-foot-high slides. 132-25 14th Ave., nr. 133rd Pl., College Point; 718-747-5867; and 6722 Ft. Hamilton Pkwy., nr. 68th St., Dyker Heights; 718-238-3288.
