    Kadi Dulude, the woman behind this housekeeping business, insists that cleaning is a calling. Given her next-to-godliness diligence, it’s no surprise that Wizard of Homes specializes in deep cleans, the kind where the fridge gets hosed out and the kitchen-­cabinet doors get scrubbed down. Dulude’s company also offers “move in/move out” cleaning—washing inside all the closets, for example, and dealing with that sticky ­whatever-it-is on the baseboard that you discovered only when you moved the couch. And then there’s what she uneuphemistically calls “filth cleaning,” for apartments that haven’t been touched in months (or perhaps ever). Basic cleaning starts at $75; a deep clean at $150. You will not be surprised to learn that Dulude’s staff includes a quality-control person who conducts impromptu inspections: an obsessive to check up on the obsessives.
