Best of New York 2015

Best Dog Trainer

  • Metro Dog Training

Since launching his classes in 2013, Twahlee Rollins (“the dog king of Williamsburg,” as the owner of an aggressive beagle-Chihuahua mix crowned him) has disciplined hyper pit bulls and lunging Shiba Inus on house calls from Brooklyn to the Bronx (from $100 per hour). Unlike the Cesar Millans of the world, who tend to train pups indoors, Rollins takes his clients to the sidewalk, teaching them to be calm in the face of honking cars and other dogs. Dinero, his Malinois-mix sidekick, is on hand to demonstrate good form.
