    Where do the women who want jeans that are cool but not punishingly tight or low-cut go? Surprisingly, to a midtown department store. Saks has multiple walls (organized by brand) and several tables strewn with sizes. The best brands: Paige, which are high waisted and have a slightly full thigh, and Immortality, also somewhat forgiving. Prices range from $150 to $300, but there’s generally a good selection on the sales racks, where prices go as low as $75.
