The matte-black leg, as it’s called in fashion-land, shows no signs of going away. This means that opaque tights are, for the foreseeable future, a fashion staple akin to dark denim and ballet flats. So while it might seem absurd to spend $50 on one item that can be ruined by an errant boot buckle, Wolford’s tights are more akin to leggings than to fragile hose.
