Although it’s a staple of men’s workwear, a simple, well-fitting button-down shirt is elusive in women’s clothing. Rebecca & Drew founders Rebecca Matchett and Drew Paluba developed a fit formula specifically for women that takes into consideration bra size, height, and body type. First consultations take around twenty minutes; you try a series of shirts to nail down your size, then choose fabrics from a selection of about twenty, ranging from basic white to purple pinstripes to polka dots. You can add a contrast collar, monogram, or French cuffs. The shirts, which run $175 to $195, are available in a traditional or slim fit, and are delivered ten to fifteen days later. Your measurements are kept on file for future orders.
