    Filene’s Basement in general is a good source of deals, and the Upper West Side location is particularly ripe. It’s smaller and less hectic than the tourist-magnet Union Square store and often dense with strollers, but the selection is not as picked over, and big-name labels (Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, Dries Van Noten) can be found regularly. Seen recently: a Dolce & Gabbana jacket for $299 and a 3.1 Phillip Lim dress for $119.
