    It’s a good sign when the maternity clothes appeal to your nonpregnant shopping companions. It’s those floaty color-blocked dresses ($168), gold-buttoned rompers ($128), stretch-twill trousers ($98), and other chic pieces that cling in all the right places that made Rosie Pope’s eponymous Madison Avenue boutique so famous (well, that and her Bravo TV show, Pregnant in Heels). Now she’s upped the fashion quotient with her two-month-old Tribeca “lab,” a loftlike space beaming with warm staff and complimentary cucumber water and jelly beans (these go a long way in your third trimester). On weekdays, customers can pop in on the design team (Pope included), based at the back of the store, and weigh in on the fits, fabrics, and colors of future collections.
