I love to take care of my friend's dogs when they're away.
Once, though, a friend neglected to mention that the dog
only understood commands in French. Now, my friend is
limited to either food words (ongelet!) or the
all-important phrase "do you have this shoe in a size
39?" not "sit," "stay" or "don't hump my leg." Had my
friend owned this lovely book A Dogsitter's
Guide my language drama could have been avoided.
There are plenty of places to write your dog's preferences
when it comes to the outdoors, food, indoors, even vet
info, plus a spot for dogsitter's comments. And to that
I say, Merci Beaucoup! $25.
