The Truth Hurts

During a recent bout of insomnia I was watching some episodes of Oprah that I had DVRd. One of them was all about this book, He’s Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys ($13.97), and I must admit, I was riveted. The book was co-written by two people who worked on Sex & The City, and it really is a no-bull book on boy behavior. Everything they said made sense, because it really is common sense. He doesn’t call when he says he will? Not that into you. Doesn’t come up when invited? Please–so obvious. The truth is that we women are very good at making excuses for boys' bad behavior (come on, you know it’s true!) because we don’t want to admit that–all together now–He’s Just Not That Into You. Buy the book, read the book and buy it for all your single friends.
