| I Capture The Kasil |
Despite my desperate
quest for a Best Dressed nomination, I'm not a designer
denim girl. I hate the stretchy feel of Blue Cults, Earls
are always loose on me, and I've never wanted to shell
out for Sevens (especially since the jeans at American
Eagle are almost exact duplicates, right down to the
pockets). But despite my aversion to status denim, my
new second skin is this pair of Kasil jeans, created by
designer David Lim to actually fit. Lim built pants with
straight legs, gently sloping seams, and sturdy denim
that keeps its shape after many washings. But like all
"It" jeans, the real appeal with Kasils is the
back pockets: besides a cool pattern inset, they carry
a secret stitching technique that makes your butt look
stylish and smallsomething definitely worth a splurge.
$150-$175 at Shop,
