be sunny, but as far as half-day Fridays go — buh-bye!
Denial will work for a while, though, and one item sure to carry you
through to cashmere sweater weather is this Singing Bird Doormat by
Denis Santachiara ($295). The mat is made of natural coconut (think
tropics!), and when stepped on, the bird chirps to announce your guest's
arrival. It's a little corny, but it's just so darn cute we had to
spread the word. If the bird drives you crazy, you can always remove
it.
