Rockwell Joins Frost/Nixon: Sam Rockwell, along with Toby Jones and Matthew Macfayden, joins cast of Ron Howard's Frost/Nixon, based on Peter Morgan's Broadway hit. Rockwell will play James Reston Jr., Jones (Infamous) will play Swifty Lazar, and Macfayden (Pride and Prejudice) will play John Burt. Checkers as yet uncast. [HR]

Roth an Abomination: Tim Roth joins The Incredible Hulk as evil Abomination, subjected to same gamma radiation as Bruce Banner (Edward Norton). Roth thrilled about finally playing a supervillain; he's got some fresh and exciting overacting he's been working on. [Variety]

Clap Your Hands Go Hollywood: Indie faves Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will appear in and score The Great Buck Howard, directed by Sean McGinly. Movie, about an illusionist's assistant, stars Tom Hanks and John Malkovich. [Pitchfork]

Mamet Takes on Politics: David Mamet's new play November will open on Broadway this coming January, possibly starring Nathan Lane. It's a political satire inspired by the coming election, directed by Joe Mantello. Mamet's version of Washington exactly like actual Washington, but everyone's nicer and more civil and swears less. New Broadway House to Roundabout: Henry Miller's Theater, reopening in 2008, will be Roundabout Theater Company's third Broadway house once deal is signed. Roundabout AD Todd Haimes predicts one theater will house long-running show, while the other two will rotate shorter runs. Last show to play theater was Urinetown, followed by five-year renovation to get the smell out. [NYT]
