A Call for a Return to the Good Old-Fashioned Handshake

Ah, the ubiquitous "pound." At first, it was a nice little way to tell the rest of society that you were down with hip-hop, and maybe even knew how to pronounce "ENYCE." Then things got complicated, as well-meaning greeters began incorporating bits of personal flair into their pounds. Video director Evan Bernard (Beastie Boys' "Root Down," Moby's "Lift Me Up") takes things a step further with this diverting homage to the form, which incorporates baseball, double Dutch, and, of course, a little Rerun. –Michael D. Ayers.
