Ah, the train wreck that is Akon. As if (allegedly) molesting 14-year-olds onstage weren't enough, now the Senegalese hip-hop artist can add fan-tossing to his résumé. Here's how it went down: This past Sunday in Fishkill, NY, Akon is getting ready to perform, and some naysayer throws something at him, missing (apparently it was a plastic bottle). Akon promptly gets the crowd to finger the culprit and sends his henchman into the audience to retrieve him. Said boy gets yanked out, brought up onstage, and promptly tossed back from whence he came. It's pretty amusing stuff; after all, how often do you get to see performers attack hecklers with their bare hands? But it's pretty disturbing to see Akon playing "bully" so effortlessly — it's one thing to hurl back a few insults, but the guy could have been seriously injured. A few things to look out for: First, despite his pesky, well-documented underage fixation, the girls still do go wild when Akon removes his shirt. And second, the clip is worth watching just to see how ridiculously, terrifyingly strong Akon turns out to be — the ease with which he picks this guy up and throws makes us pretty confident we're not going to be throwing anything his way anytime soon. –Michael D.
