Take Your Skull and Shove It (We're Talking to You, Hirst)

Don’t have $98 million to blow on a diamond-riddled skull? Lacking the means to embark on the indulgent “Grand Tour” with the rest of the jet set? This weekend's Affordable Art Fair could offer a pragmatic solution, as dozens of galleries from around the world display low-priced (well, lower-priced) work, 75 percent of which is priced under $5,000. The prices may still be a stretch for some (rent … art … rent … art …), but the fair is a great opportunity to check out under-the-radar artists and European galleries — and if the walls of your apartment have been blank since you moved in, you could do much, much worse.
