Last Thursday, a bevy of lesbian and transgendered sash-coveting hopefuls (and a pumped-up crowd of their enthusiastic admirers) descended upon Luna Lounge to compete for the title of Ms. Lez 2007. New York's Elizabeth Cline dropped by to talk to the talent — indomitable host Murray Hill, lusty judge Kathleen Hanna of Le Tigre, cabaret stars the Wau Wau Sisters — and to record some of the big-haired, pasty-baring, utterly debaucherous action for posterity.
