It seems like just yesterday that New York ran Adam Sternbergh's highly enjoyable profile of SNL's Andy Samberg. And now Samberg has hit the big time: He's an Emmy nominee! The category? Best Original Song. The original song? "Dick in a Box," obviously.

This is gonna end up disappointing us just as much as the year the Oscars nominated — and then spurned — "Blame Canada," we can already tell. We hope they combine a live performance of this song with the award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program — think of all the dicks!
