San Francisco–based duo Ferris Plock and Kelly Tunstall’s whimsical renditions of an imagined subterranean world are essentially Alice gone urban. This one would make a lovely children’s-book cover if it weren’t for the croc’s pervy smile and wandering claw. Nevertheless, it still tops rats and sewage. Plock and Tunstall’s "Subterranea" opens at Fuse Gallery (a space housed in the back of punk haven Lit Lounge) on Saturday. —Rachel Wolff
