Marston, Abrams Team Up: Josh Marston (Maria Full of Grace) will write and direct an untitled supernatural thriller for J.J. Abrams's Bad Robot and Paramount. Details are being kept quiet, but expect www.untitledmarstonabramssupernaturalthrillerclues.com to launch any minute now. [Variety]

Kidman Back in Horror: Nicole Kidman will star in and produce remake of Colombian horror film Al final del espectro for Universal, playing a woman who sees a ghost. Given that The Others is Kidman's best movie ever, we hope this might be kind of good. [Variety]

Coogan to Fly Like an Eagle: Steve Coogan will play ski-jump folk hero Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards, who memorably soared to a last-place finish in the 1988 Winter Olympics. "His balls must be made of titanium," Coogan notes. This news is too awesome to make fun of. [Variety]

Brick Lane to Film: Monica Ali's novel of the British immigrant experience, Brick Lane, acquired by Sony Pictures Classics for film. Sarah Gavron will direct; Abi Morgan and Laura Jones will write. [Variety]

Grazer Brings FBI to Fox: Brian Grazer's Imagine will produce The FBI for Fox. The series, which has full cooperation of the Bureau, will revolve around a character based on John O'Neill, who famously warned of terrorism before being killed on September 11. [Variety]
