Kanye West: Worst Beefer in History

In a rare moment of semi-competent beefing, sweater-vest enthusiast Kanye West took a roundabout swipe at 50 Cent in a recent interview, claiming his only real musical competition is Justin Timberlake: "If Justin hadn't come out and killed the game, I can't say that my album, singles and videos would be on the same level that they're on," he says. "We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day … I feel like my lyrics are, if not the, then equal to, the realest lyrics out. I connected with so many people without talking about guns and drugs. It's harder to go to work 365 days than shoot a person in one day." Zing!

To make up for it, though, Kanye's actually agreed to help 50 promote his forthcoming album Curtis (due on September 11, just like Kanye's Graduation). Rumors are swirling on the Internets about his allegedly appearing with Jay-Z and Diddy on an upcoming remix of 50's single "I Got Money." Sigh.
