The Devil Inside the Internet

New York–based artist Siebren Versteeg is likely to become every Harry Potter–loving/Hackers-watching/anti-capitalist computer geek’s idol. For his Satan Series, up at Foxy Production until tomorrow, Versteeg reprogrammed popular corporate software and drawing programs to chop, shred, and reassemble the results of a Google Image search for “Satan.” The results are chaotic but illuminating; we particularly like the fake Intel logo reading Satan Inside. —Rachel Wolff
