‘Margot at the Wedding’ Makes Hollywood's First Williamsburg Joke!

We'll review Margot at the Wedding later. For now, let's just note that there's one line that will bring down the house at the Sunshine Cinemas (it certainly had the N.Y. critics giggling in Toronto). Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who thinks her marriage to Jack Black is falling apart, is talking about her options to her sister Margot (Nicole Kidman) at their family place in the Hamptons.
Pauline: "Maybe … maybe I could get a place in Brooklyn — Williamsburg or something. People are living there, right?"
"You don't want to live there," Margot snaps (imagine Nicole Kidman's upturned nose upturned even more than normal). "It's all young people." —Logan Hill
