We think: For platinum-smelling, MOR, wussy rock, Blunt's second album is surprisingly not bad. It's nothing we'll be listening to on a regular basis, but Vulture can certainly envision several scenarios in which the Gilbert O'Sullivan–channeling "One of the Brightest Stars" or the yacht-rock-y "Gimme Some Love" would not make us projectile vomit. Then again, "You're Beautiful" didn't make us want to gouge out our eardrums with a plastic spoon the first time we heard it either (that took two listens).
