Looking back on a week in which we appealed to mature audiences…

It was a slow news week, so we posted dirty videos and used words like "naked" a lot in a shameless bid for more traffic — and it worked! Thanks, Googlers!

We said good-bye to Luciano Pavarotti and Madeleine L'Engle.

We pirated new music from Chamillionaire and Bruuuuuce, and we heard parts of the new Wu-Tang Clan album, which should be leaking any day now.

We chatted up Jeff Garlin and Ben Foster.

The Atlantic declared war on quirkiness, and Barry Manilow and Rosie O'Donnell made us even sadder than they usually do.

Book we can't wait to read: Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul.

Book we can't wait to not read: Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Hunter's The 47th Samurai.

A.O. Scott: Not funny. Kid Nation: Hilarious!
