Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood the World's First Celebrity to Realize Carbon Credits Are Stupid

In an interview with Gothamist yesterday, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood discusses his solo work, In Rainbows, and the band's wacky new business model. But the best part is when he outs himself as the world's first famous person to think carbon-offset credits are pretty much worthless: "We've heard bad things about them. I'm not sure that that's enough; to buy off our guilt with money."

Plus, by not purchasing carbon credits, Radiohead can channel their unabsolved guilt and anxiety directly back into their albums — that's conservation!
