This Stanley Kubrick set: most essential DVD box ever.

If you’re even half-serious about having a decent home film library, you will order this DVD set right now. It includes (New York native) Kubrick’s essential films: 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, and Full Metal Jacket — plus a documentary. Some of the commentary is weak (few of the films’ actual stars participated, save Malcolm McDowell), but this is absolutely necessary — especially since the movies are all available in HD and Blu-Ray.
