As we enter the third day of the Broadway stagehands strike, it's only now that we realize just how serious this all is. Over the weekend we caught some of the still-running shows recommended by New York theater critic Jeremy McCarter, but now comes news that tonight and tomorrow's Duran Duran shows, which were supposed to happen at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, will now take place at the crappy Roseland Ballroom. Please, someone, resolve this before we have to listen to "Girls on Film" in a non-classy venue!
