Camera-phone footage of the new trailer for J.J. Abrams's Cloverfield leaked online last night, and well, it's certainly camera-phone footage. There are some explosions, lots of screaming, an aerial shot of the beheaded Statue of Liberty, and a brief glimpse of what looks like a smaller monster (or maybe just a really ugly actor). And finally we're given official confirmation that the film's title is, in fact, Cloverfield. The actual trailer runs before screenings of Beowulf this weekend, so we promise to link to even better camera-phone footage just as soon as we find some.
