At least the striking writers gave us season three of ‘Lost.’

Thanks to the writers’ strike, there will never be a new television show again. Or at least, there will be a lot of reruns. Rather than rewatch Jay Leno, who wasn’t amusing when he interviewed Stacy Q. Actress the first time, fall back on the episodes of Lost that corrected many of season two’s flaws with a sharper, less mystical focus, consistent payoffs, and a whopper of a season finale that may send the entire show spinning off in a new direction. Plus, you don’t have to endure last year’s holiday-season hiatus.
