Unless you've somehow heroically managed to avoid PerezHilton.com for the past twelve hours, you probably already know about the just-announced surprise pregnancies of Lily Allen and Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney's 16-year-old sister. Here at Vulture, we extend our sincerest congratulations to the mothers-to-be (we're totally progressive like that). But what will the famously conservative Academy Awards voters think about this pair, who, by comparison, make Nicole Richie look fit for parenthood? And might they feel weird about rewarding Juno, the much-acclaimed new comedy about an accidentally pregnant 16-year-old? We have no idea, but if it does manage to win something on February 24, we can probably all look forward to an instructive sex-ed lecture from Academy president Sid Ganis using a condom and an Oscar statue.
