‘American Idol’: Nope, Nothing Interesting Happening in San Diego Either

Last night, in a mercifully brief one-hour episode of American Idol, Randy, Paula, and Simon auditioned hopefuls in San Diego, and viewers learned a very important lesson: American Idol is boring. Of a purported 12,000 hopefuls, only about a dozen or so, apparently, were good, bad, or interesting enough to warrant valuable airtime between commercials for Fox's potentially awesome lie-detector show The Moment of Truth, which debuts tomorrow after Idol (we've already set our TiVo). Anyway, if you missed last night's show, fear not — we made charts!
