The curves may suggest blurred and reworked Internet porn à la Thomas Ruff, but artist Bill Armstrong gets his source material from Renaissance master drawings. Mary Magdalene, perhaps? His solo show at Chelsea’s ClampArt is up through mid-February. —Rachel Wolff
