We were under the distinct impression that Tuesday night's episode of American Idol was the final audition show. However, last night's was made up solely of leftover contestants from the previous seven audition shows, presumably because Fox executives think they can air whatever they want these days and still beat their strike-addled competition in the ratings. Sadly, they are probably correct.
