Yeah, that's right, Nick Denton, we're talkin' to you! We certainly have our problems with this season and agree that the show has suffered from jamming thirteen episodes' worth of story into ten episodes. But who the hell cares? You're really telling us you wouldn't feel blessed to spend another couple of hours with McNulty, the Bunk, Omar, and Rawls? (Assuming all these guys make it out of this season with their lives/careers.) We view this season as only about 75 percent as good as any previous season, and we imagine any movie would be only 90 percent as good as this season, but that level of quality would still have made a Wire movie the second-best movie of 2007, after Superbad.
