It's Official: ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ to Be Two Movies

Courtesy of Warner Bros.

The L.A. Times had the scoop last night, and a Warner Bros. press release confirms it this morning: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be split into two films. Part one, which we imagine will be called Harry Potter and His Friends Shouting in Tents, will come out in November 2010; part two, Harry Potter and All the Exciting Parts, will come out in May 2011. Steve Kloves will write both, and David Yates will direct both. We're just as excited about this as we were back in January, as are the commenters over at the Leaky Cauldron — 628 so far!
