Broadway celebrity-stunt casting reaches its inevitable nadir this morning with Us Weekly reporting that Kevin Federline, the second-most talented of Britney Spears's former husbands, is set to join the cast of Legally Blonde: The Musical. He'll purportedly soon be taking over the three roles currently filled by Andy Karl — Dewey, Grandmaster Chad, and Kyle the UPS guy.

Sure, this is bad, but is it the worst thing that's ever happened? At least he's not playing King Lear or anything. Plus, every minute he's onstage will be one that he's not appearing on television, rapping, or siring children (presumably).
